Choose a crystal-only linear and the fire stays a design feature rather than something you want to sit near.
What Makes It Special
The U1500 pairs a wide landscape opening with coastal driftwood logs on a glowing linear ember bed, so the flame has the width of a modern fireplace and the texture of a real one.
You finish it three ways: an inner door frame for a clean, trim-free edge, an outer faceplate with the door frame, or a four-piece black glass surround with a glossy inner frame. The Heat Wave duct option carries heat to an adjacent room, and the burner lights only when you turn it on.
Possible Downsides
- Driftwood logs are the only fire bed; for crystals, firebeads, or stones, see the Horizon HZ54.
- The Heat Wave duct is optional, so the base unit heats the room it is in.
