What Makes It Special
The 98HH combines the 180 burner with extra-tall double glass, so the fire reads as a long glass wall from three directions.
There's no metal border to design around—finish runs to the glass—and the cool-wall design keeps the surface above calm enough for a TV or art directly overhead. Working from Ortal's published gas input, we estimate it warms approximately 1,300 to 2,650 square feet.
The front is double glass, cooled by fans that move room air between the panes. The included remote has a thermostat mode, so you set a temperature and it manages the flame.
