A five-foot three-sided fire with extra-tall glass.
Quick Facts
- Heating Capacity: 1,100–2,200 sq ft
- Viewing Area: 65 1/2" wide
- Fuel: Natural gas; propane with a conversion kit.
- Controls: Remote with thermostat included; wall switch and phone app available.
Who It's For
If the three-sided fire is the room's statement—a glass divider between two spaces—it needs height. If you want a 65 1/2-inch fire, 29 1/2 inches tall, on three sides, the Three Sided 60HH is the extra-tall version.
What Makes It Special
The 60HH combines the 135 burner with Ortal's extra-tall double glass, so the divider becomes a tall glass box of flame.
Nothing frames the opening but your own finish, and because of Ortal's passive cool wall, the wall above stays open for a TV or artwork. Expect it to warm roughly 1,100 to 2,200 square feet, our estimate from Ortal's gas input.
Double glass is the heat barrier: quiet fans move room air between the panes, so the outer glass stays far cooler than the fire side. The included remote has a thermostat mode, so you set a temperature and it manages the flame.
Possible Downsides
- It needs household power; tall-glass models come with interior lighting, and double-glass units won't operate during a power outage.
- Double glass only; the Three Sided 60H offers a mesh screen.
- Natural gas is the factory setup; switching to propane means an Ortal conversion kit and an authorized technician.
If you want a tall glass divider of fire, the Three Sided 60HH is the right decision. Two rooms share one glowing wall.
Make it yours with an included log set—standard, driftwood, clay, or English—or a bonfire, campfire, aspen, or branch upgrade, and add a black reflective interior if you like.
