Fire drawn as a line of architecture and carried around a corner on frameless glass.

  • Viewing Area: 20" tall frameless glass.
  • Fuel: Natural gas; propane by conversion kit.

  • Fan: Sold separately and required: remote-grill or inline kit.

Who It's For

Modern architecture leaves little room for a fireplace that looks bolted on. A box with a frame and a screen interrupts the clean lines you worked to get. You need a fire designed into the wall, not added to it. The Firenze Left Corner suits architects, designers, and homeowners planning a custom space—an open great room, a corner sightline—who want flame visible across two planes of glass. Pick a framed unit and the fireplace becomes one more object; pick this one and it becomes part of the building.

What Makes It Special

Three-eighths-inch frameless glass, 20 inches tall, carries the flame across the front and around the end with no screen needed. The opening reads as a clean cut in the wall.

Rock embers over Ember-Glo glass give a glowing bed; platinum or black crushed glass gives a sharper modern base. Handmade brick, painted black, or high-gloss black glass sits behind the flame, and the glass version multiplies it. Full-spectrum underlighting shifts the color of the bed, and smart-home boards tie it into the rest of the house.

Possible Downsides

  • A ventilated chase or a CoolSmart wall kit is mandatory. Build it into the plan from the start.
  • No fan comes in the box. One of two fan kits must be added.

If you are designing a room where the fire should be architecture rather than an appliance, the Firenze Left Corner is the right decision. Guests walk in and follow the line of flame around the corner before they notice anything else.

Finish it with an ember-and-glass or crushed-glass base, three back-wall finishes, a black or white control, your pick of fan kit, and optional log, driftwood, stone, and cannon ball media, TV or side-vent CoolSmart kits, propane conversion, and smart-home controls.
