Who It's For

You want a timeless cast iron stove you can watch from anywhere in the room. The Jøtul GF 520 is made for that. Settle for a plain box and you give up the design and craft Jøtul is known for.

What Makes It Special

The GF 520 pairs durable cast iron construction with three-sided glass around a handcrafted Beach Fire or Birch log set.

The Proflame 2 remote with flame control, an accent light, and a blower come standard, and the ash lip ships with the unit. If the power goes out, a battery back-up keeps remote control of the burner; the fan and accent light wait for the power to return.

Like every Jøtul gas stove and fireplace, it comes with an approved fire safety screen.

Possible Downsides

  • The log set is ordered separately. Choose Beach Fire or Birch; one is required.

If you want Jøtul's Norwegian craft with the ease of gas, the Jøtul GF 520 is the right decision. Cold mornings start with a fire at the push of a button.

Choose the Beach Fire or Birch log set and a black reflective or black fluted panel kit.
