Who It's For

You want to see the fire from anywhere in a smaller room, in a stove that looks modern. The Jøtul GF 160 is made for that. Settle for a plain box and you give up the design and craft Jøtul is known for.

What Makes It Special

Inspired by the popular GF 370, the compact GF 160 offers the same three-sided fire view on a truly unique tripod base.

The Proflame 2 remote with flame control, an accent light, and a blower come standard. If the power goes out, a battery back-up keeps remote control of the burner; the fan and accent light wait for the power to return.

Like every Jøtul gas stove and fireplace, it comes with an approved fire safety screen.

Possible Downsides

  • Media is a required choice. Pick traditional logs, beach fire, river rocks, tumbled stones, or black or white glass.

If you want Jøtul's Norwegian craft with the ease of gas, the Jøtul GF 160 is the right decision. Cold mornings start with a fire at the push of a button.

Choose traditional logs, beach fire logs, river rocks, tumbled stones, black glass, or white starfire glass, and a Skamol or black reflective glass panel kit.
