Whole-house gas heat from a descendant of Jøtul's best-selling wood stove.

  • Fan: Optional.

Who It's For

You want one stove that can heat the whole house, with simple standing pilot controls. The Jøtul GF 500 Portland is made for that. Settle for a plain box and you give up the design and craft Jøtul is known for.

What Makes It Special

A descendant of Jøtul's best-selling F 500 Oslo wood stove, the GF 500 Portland offers the same whole-house heating capabilities at the push of a button, fueled by the dual JøtulBurner IV.

It runs on a standing pilot you light with a push-button igniter.

Like every Jøtul gas stove and fireplace, it comes with an approved fire safety screen.

Possible Downsides

  • The remote and blower are optional. The electronic-ignition GF 500 is the alternative.

If you want Jøtul's Norwegian craft with the ease of gas, the Jøtul GF 500 Portland is the right decision. Cold mornings start with a fire at the push of a button.

Add the reversible brick panel kit, remote control, wall thermostat, floor bracket kit, blower kit, and short leg kit.
