Who It's For
A great room or long open-plan wall dwarfs an ordinary electric fire, and gas is not on the table. You need the widest, tallest electric fire available. If you have a big wall and want 17-inch-tall flame across more than six feet, installed flat or wrapped around a corner, the Onyx 75-inch is the one. Anything smaller on that wall reads as undersized.
What Makes It Special
The Onyx 75-inch is the widest Onyx fire, and the tall 17-inch glass keeps the proportion right across the full width, whether it installs single-sided, as a corner, or as a three-sided bay.
Chromalight Plus lights the oak logs from all angles, the thermostatic remote and app handle temperature, timers, and weekly schedules, and the unit recesses fully with no trim. Optional crystals swap the logs for a modern bed.
Possible Downsides
- Supplemental heat for one room; a fire this wide still has a one-room heater behind it.
- Needs a wide wall; for a standard living room, the 43- or 59-inch is the better fit.
If you want the biggest tall-glass electric fire for the biggest wall you have, the Onyx 75-inch is the right decision. The great room has a center, and it glows.
The Onyx 75-inch comes with a split oak log set and offers an optional birch log set, large or small crystal media, and a mood lighting kit.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Regency Onyx EX190?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Regency Onyx EX190 and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Regency Onyx EX190 in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Regency Onyx EX190 into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Regency Onyx EX190 as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Regency Onyx EX190 yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Regency Onyx EX190, run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
