Who It's For
Most electric fires are short and wide, and you decide at purchase whether it faces one way or three. You need a taller fire that adapts to the wall it ends up in. If you want a compact electric fireplace with a tall glass view that can install single-sided, as a corner, or three-sided from the same unit, and you want to run it from your phone, the Onyx 43-inch is the one. A fixed single-sided unit locks you into one layout.
What Makes It Special
The Onyx gives you a 17-inch glass height, taller than the Studio or Skope, and the same fire installs one-sided, as a left or right corner, or as a three-sided bay, so the layout decision can wait for the room.
Chromalight Plus lighting lights the oak logs from all angles, the thermostatic remote sets a timer and temperature, and the app schedules it to come on before you get home. It recesses fully with no trim, and optional crystals replace the logs for a modern bed.
Possible Downsides
- Supplemental heat for one room, not whole-house heat.
- The smallest Onyx; for a wider wall, see the 59- and 75-inch versions.
If you want a taller electric fire that fits the wall you have, flat or wrapped around a corner, the Onyx 43-inch is the right decision. The corner nobody used becomes the spot everybody takes.
The Onyx 43-inch comes with a split oak log set and offers an optional birch log set, large or small crystal media, and a mood lighting kit.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Regency Onyx EX110?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Regency Onyx EX110 and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Regency Onyx EX110 in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Regency Onyx EX110 into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Regency Onyx EX110 as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Regency Onyx EX110 yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Regency Onyx EX110, run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
