Who It's For
Most small inserts heat by blowing warm air, so the room only feels warm while the fan runs and never feels warm near the fire itself. You need a small insert that radiates. If you have a compact fireplace and want warmth you can feel from the couch, plus a fan for the rest of the room, the Liberty Radiant LRi3 is the one. A fan-only insert leaves you waiting on the blower.
What Makes It Special
The Liberty Radiant line combines radiant and convective heat: heat-radiating ceramic glass warms you directly, the way the sun warms your face, while the included fan pushes warm air to the far side of the room. In a power outage the radiant heat keeps coming.
Seven Vignette faceplates, from black and platinum to tudor and arched styles, plus door and craftsman inlays and hearth trim, mean the same compact insert can look traditional, arts-and-crafts, or clean. Artisan-crafted logs sit over rustic brown, old town red, or volcanic black brick or black enamel reflective panels.
Possible Downsides
- Log fire only; for a crystal or stone fire in the same compact size, see the Horizon HRi3.
- The smallest of the three Liberty Radiant sizes; the LRi4 and LRi6 give a bigger fire if the opening allows.
If you want a small insert that feels warm, not just sounds warm, the Liberty Radiant LRi3 is the right decision. You sit down and the heat finds you before the fan does.
The LRi3 offers seven Vignette faceplates including tudor and arched styles, door and craftsman inlays, six backing plates including custom sizes, brick panels in rustic brown, old town red, or volcanic black, black enamel reflective panels, adjustable hearth trim, a mantel heat deflector, and a hardwire kit.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Regency Liberty LRI3E?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Regency Liberty LRI3E and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Regency Liberty LRI3E in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Regency Liberty LRI3E into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Regency Liberty LRI3E as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Regency Liberty LRI3E yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Regency Liberty LRI3E, run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
