What Makes It Special
DaVinci lists no limits on finish materials or clearances to combustibles for this fireplace. Wood paneling, plaster, stone, or millwork can meet it directly, which lets you treat it as part of the wall rather than an appliance set into it.
The layout is flexible too: a flat single face, a left or right corner, or an open three-sided bay. A holographic flame plays over large split logs and a mixed-media ember bed, in Lodge or Urban style, with lighting you tune by color and intensity.
Run the heater on a cool evening, or switch it off and keep only the flame for a summer dinner.
Possible Downsides
- The heater reaches top output only when wired for 240 volts. At 120 volts, expect roughly half the warmth.
- Ambient lighting is not in the box. It comes as a separate LED kit.
