What Makes It Special

Finish it in the material you choose. The unit ships with tile guides in place; take them out to fit pre-made or custom panels. It needs no chimney, so it can go virtually anywhere you draw it.

Light is your second design tool. Set the color and intensity of the glowing logs, downlight, and live ember bed, and add the optional ambient lighting for a softer glow in the room.

The flame itself comes two ways: Urban, a contemporary fire in orange, yellow, or white, or Lodge, with bold flames over large split logs. Synchronized crackle and smoke-and-ember effects play along, and remote, app, and voice control all come standard. The heater gives one room comfort warmth, up to about 500 square feet.

Possible Downsides

• Warmth is a bonus, not the main event. The heater is sized for one room and will not replace your furnace.
• It goes dark in an outage. Flame, light, and heat all depend on household power.
