Who It's For
There's a room in your house that would be better with a fire in it—a bedroom, an office, the wall between the living room and the den—but there's no gas line and no chimney, and adding either is a bigger project than the room calls for. You need a fireplace that asks for nothing but an outlet. If you want a wide fire you can shape to the room—flat on a wall, wrapped around a corner, or open on three sides—this is the one to look at. A standard electric fire gives you flames behind glossy glass; the LEX3-S gives you real wood, glass you can see through, and heat you can schedule.
What Makes It Special
You decide the shape when it's installed: one unit, three configurations—front-facing, corner, or three-sided—straight out of the box. Set it into a divider wall and one room becomes two, with the fire easing the transition between them.
The logs can be actual wood. The Real Wood Artisan set is built from individually selected North American logs, hand-hewn and charred by artisans, and delivered as a single pre-assembled piece—no two sets alike. Behind non-reflective glass, you see the fire, not your lamp reflected back at you.
The remote or the app runs the rest: three flame colors, 13 fire bed colors, two crackling-wood sounds, and a seven-day programmable heater that holds the room at the temperature you set.
Possible Downsides
- Full heat requires hardwiring. Plugged into a standard outlet, the heater runs at 1400 watts; the 2800-watt output needs a hardwired connection.
- It stops when the power stops. No electricity means no flame and no heat—if outage heat matters to you, a gas fireplace is the better tool.
- Mood lighting costs extra. The LED strip lighting shown in the brochure is an optional accessory, not included.
If you want a real-looking fire in a room that gas lines and chimneys can't reach, the LEX3-S is the right decision. The wall you used to walk past becomes the room everyone ends up in.
Choose the fire bed to suit the room—Valor Birch, Driftwood, or Splitwood log sets, or the Real Wood Artisan set—and add optional LED mood lighting strips to finish the space.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Valor LEX3 60-inch Electric Fireplace Engine, run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
