Who It's For
A large fireplace in a modern house can be the main heat, but most big wood inserts look like they belong in a lodge. You need the output with a clean face. If you want fourteen-hour burns, 22-inch logs, and a flat low-profile or contemporary steel faceplate, the Pro-Series Ci2700 is the one. A traditional insert heats the house and dates the room.
What Makes It Special
The Ci2700 is a large contemporary cast iron hybrid insert with Eco-Boost triple-burn: 22-inch logs, fourteen-hour burns, 77 percent efficiency, and a digital catalytic monitor that tells you when the combustor is working. Regency rates it for up to 2,600 square feet.
Finish it with a one-piece low-profile faceplate or a four-piece contemporary one, regular, oversize, or custom backing plates, and a flush-front two-speed fan that disappears into the face. Hybrids carry a ten-year warranty on top of the lifetime limited warranty.
Possible Downsides
- Steel contemporary faceplates only; for the same firebox in traditional cast iron, see the Hampton Hi500.
- The fan is optional, and a large insert wants one.
- The catalytic combustor is a wear part and adds a bypass step at lighting.
If your fireplace is large and your house is modern, the Pro-Series Ci2700 is the right decision. The fireplace heats the house all day and looks like it was designed with it.
The Ci2700 offers a low-profile one-piece or contemporary four-piece faceplate, regular, oversize, or custom backing plates, an offset flue adapter, a flush-front two-speed fan kit, and a replacement catalytic combustor.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black)?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black) and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black) in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black) into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black) as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black) yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Regency Pro-Series CI2700/Hampton Hi500 (Black), run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
