Sold and installed from our Ballard showroom · SKU HZO60-NG11
A 60-inch outdoor fire you can see through.
Quick Facts
- Heating Capacity: Designed for ambiance, not as a heat source.
- Fuel: Natural gas; propane conversion kit available.
- Controls: Switch operation; hardwire kit available.
Who It's For
An outdoor kitchen on one side and a seating area on the other both want the fire, and a single-sided fireplace faces one of them away. You need a fire open on both sides. If you want a 60-inch contemporary outdoor fireplace that converts from single-sided to see-through, the Horizon HZO60 is the one. A one-sided unit makes half the patio look at a stainless steel back.
What Makes It Special
The HZO60 converts from single-sided to see-through, so the same 60-inch stainless steel linear burner can divide an outdoor room and light both halves, with stainless inner panels, faceplate, finishing trim, and a burner cover for the off-season.
Crystals or firebeads in six colors are the fire bed, with volcanic stones or a ceramic log set as alternatives, and a hardwire kit puts the switch on the wall.
Possible Downsides
- Designed for ambiance, not as a heater; it warms the people beside it and nothing more.
- Fire media must be chosen; crystals or firebeads are required and sold separately.
- No weather cover is listed, unlike the HZO42, so plan on the stainless burner cover alone.
If your outdoor space has two sides that both deserve the fire, the Horizon HZO60 is the right decision. The cook and the guests share the same fire from opposite sides of the wall.
The HZO60 offers crystals or firebeads in six colors, volcanic stones in two mixes, a ceramic log set, a stainless faceplate, stainless finishing trim, a stainless burner cover, and a hardwire kit.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Regency HZO60 Outdoor Fireplace, run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
