Who It's For
A stove big enough to heat a large home is a big object in the room, and in plain black it can dominate the space. You need whole-house heat in a stove you are happy to look at every day. If your home runs up to 3,000 square feet and you want that heat in a traditional stove with color, the Summit Classic is the one. Pick plain steel and you get the same warmth in a stove that blends into the background.
What Makes It Special
The Summit Classic wraps the biggest traditional firebox in porcelain enamel: Ebony Black, Ivory, Sunset Red, Modern Desert, Midnight Blue, or Evergreen. A decorative trivet sits on top, and the ash disposal system comes standard.
It takes logs up to 20 inches, and a full load burns approx. 8–12 hours. Logs load straight in, front to back, one lever sets the burn, and it heats with no electricity, so a storm that takes the power out leaves the house warm.
Possible Downsides
- The blower is optional, not included. Without it, the stove heats by radiation alone.
- It is built for spaces up to 3,000 square feet. For a smaller home in color, the Super Classic or Vista Classic is the better size.
If you want whole-house wood heat in a stove that brings color into the room, the Summit Classic is the right decision. The biggest room in the house becomes the warmest, and the stove is the piece people remember.
The Summit Classic comes in six porcelain colors, with legs and an arched door each in Black, Nickel, or Brushed Nickel, a Black or Nickel trivet, and an optional blower.

Can you get an instant online estimate for the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove?
Yes—right on this page. Configure the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove and get a free, no-obligation instant estimate covering the unit as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor. No phone call required.
What's included in the online estimate?
The unit with the options you selected, a real vent kit matched to your venting, and the installation labor for a typical setup. Your free one-to-two-hour in-home visit confirms every detail before anything is ordered.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, on every job, in every jurisdiction we serve—and we meet the inspector. It's built into the process, not an upsell.
Can you see the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove in a photo of your own room?
Yes. The Visualizer tab on this page renders the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove into a straight-on photo of your wall, scaled to the room, so you see it in your space before you price a thing. Phone photos are fine. It's a faithful preview, not an architectural drawing; sizing, venting, and trim get confirmed at the free in-home visit.
Is the online estimate real, or a rough guess?
Real, and honest about what it is: a price for the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove as configured, a fitting vent kit, and professional installation labor, built from real Seattle installs. It is not binding. The free one-to-two-hour in-home visit checks your actual house before the price is final, and nothing is ordered until then.
Do you install and service the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove yourselves?
Yes, both. Our own in-house installers set the Pacific Energy Summit Classic LE Wood Stove, run the venting and the gas, pull the permit, and light the first fire before leaving. Afterward the service desk looks after every unit that came from Sutter, with factory-trained technicians and a real date when you call.
